TOKYO ATTRACTIONS - LANDMARKS

  
 Ed Castle
Edo Castle was the castle that was located were the Imperial Palace is located today. Today there still remain some walls, moats, turents and ramparts. Some of these are original and others are reconstructions.
                                                                                             
National Diet Building
  National Diet Building is the place in which both the houses of the Diet of Japan are held. It is located in 1-chome, Nagatacho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

   Fuji TV Building 
Fuji TV studios with a distinctive building designed by Kenzo Tange is a major land mark of Odaiba.


         
 Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Tower is in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Its design is based on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. The Tower is 333 meters tall (9 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower, or 33 if the latter's TV Antenna is not included) making it the world's highest self-supporting iron tower



 

                                 Tokyo Sky Tree
      
         
 Tokyo Sky Tree at 634m is the tallest tower in Japan and the second tallest structure in Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildingthe world. It features a restaurant and obervation deck. Tokyo Sky Tree is effectively the functional replacement for Tokyo Tower with most of the major tv and radio broadcasters moving their transmitters to Tokyo Sky Tree. Tokyo Sky Tree located in Sumida, is part of a major commercial development. Tokyo Sky Tree opens to the public in May 22 2012.

                             Located in Shinjuku, it is the tallest building in Tokyo at 248 meters (814 feet) from base to top, and the third-tallest structure after Tokyo Tower. The two top-floor observation decks are free of charge to the public. It is only a short walk from Shinjuku Station.
